It’s almost Pioneer Day — and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a visit to the Garden.

Skip the fireworks and parades (or at least add to them) with a stroll among flowers that are blazing their own trails. These bold, blooming beauties are putting on the real show this week.

Hemerocallis-'Fire-King'-Flower-HMS25

Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Fire King')

Bright, bold, and ready to steal the show — this daylily lives up to its fiery name.

Hibiscus-syriacus-'Blue-Satin'-Flower-HMS25

Blue Satin® Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Blue Satin')

With surprisingly blue blooms, this shrub brings deep color and summer-long style.

Echinacea-'One-in-a-Melon'-Habit-Flower-Summer-HMS25

Color Coded® One in a Melon (Echinacea 'One in a Melon')

This perennial is a melon-hued magnet for pollinators.

Penstemon-cobaea-Flower-HMS25

Cobaea Beardtongue (Penstemon cobaea)

The light purple flowers look almost too big to be real!

Visit the Garden and celebrate Pioneer Day the floral way!
