Creeping Gold Buttons (Cotula 'Tiffendell Gold')

In the Water Conservation Garden, this ground cover makes everyone happy when they see it.

Pale Purple Coneflower (Echinacea pallida)

This plant is widely used in modern herbal medicine. It has a stimulatory effect on the immune system. It can be seen in the Water Conservation Garden and Fragrance Garden.

Moonbeam Coreopsis (Coreopsis verticillata 'Moonbeam')

This little cutie can be seen in a few places throughout the Garden.

Sticky Jerusalem Sage (Phlomis russeliana)

This unique plant in the mint family can be seen in the Water Conservation Garden.

Chocolate Flower (Berlandiera lyrata)

As it's name suggests, this flower smells like chocolate.

Showy Milkweed (Asclepias speciosa)

This is a host plant to the Monarch Butterfly. They lay their eggs on the leaves.

New Mexico Agave (Agave parryi var. neomexicana)

This plant hails from the dry deserts of southern New Mexico and west Texas.

Beaked Yucca (Yucca rostrata)

This is a staff favorite and another native of west Texas and New Mexico.
