Dear Winter, I'm okay if you stay. As long as you keep the Garden covered in snow, you may stay as long as you'd like.

Sorbus-alnifolia-Winter-Fruits-KAK24

Korean Mountain Ash (Sorbus alnifolia)

I have been trying to take a good photo of this fruit for years. Well done to our volunteer photographer Kaitlyn who succeeded and whose photos are featured in this blog episode.

Viburnum-opulus-'Xanthocarpum'-Winter-Buds-KAK24

European Cranberrybush Viburnum (Viburnum opulus 'Xanthocarpum')

I like your green buds! They are waiting for spring to burst.

Berberis-thunbergii-'Rose-Glow'-Fruits-Winter-KAK24

Rose Glow Japanese Barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'Rose Glow')

Always a stunning contrast between Barberry fruit and snow.

Picea-abies-'Arocona'-Winter-Seed-Cones-KAK24

Norway Spruce (Picea abies 'Acrocona')

Cones think it's all about them in the Winter...

Okay...Maybe it is.

Malus-'Prairifire'-Winter-Fruits-KAK24

Prairiefire Crabapple (Malus 'Prairiefire')

After a snowfall, I dare you to resist snapping a photo of this eye catching fruit.

Winter, thanks for all the beautiful snow and stunning scenery. Keep it coming.

Sincerely, A fan of Winter in the Garden
