Terrarium Workshop

Build your own protected world of living plants and moss that can thrive for years!
A terrarium is more than a tiny world enclosed in glass. It’s a relationship with nature.
$80 fee includes everything needed to create a thriving ecosystem, including a 1000ml glass container with a ground glass lid, live moss, plants, substrates (gravel, horticultural charcoal, and soil), springtails, and excellent instruction.
Instructor Jodi Mardesich Smith has been obsessed with terrariums for 15 years and has been teaching workshops for 12. Her terrariums have been sold at Iconoclad, Finch Lane Gallery, J Go Gallery, and Thyme and Place. Custom installations include Sundance Film Festival’s Airbnb Haus and the Bigfoot Discovery Tour (with stops at the Portland Zoo and Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, FL.)
