What is Qigong?
Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is a slow-moving meditation practice combining mindful breath work and gentle movements to cultivate awareness of our Qi—our essence, our life force. By focusing on the present moment, we can release stress that often arises from dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. Come breathe deeply, expand your energy, and BE in the moment on this special Earth Day.

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable clothes and layers (Utah weather can be unpredictable!)
  • A water bottle to stay hydrated
  • Shoes are optional—we will be practicing barefoot to feel the earth beneath us.

Who's this class intended for?
This class is suitable for everyone! Whether you’re an experienced practitioner, just a few weeks into your journey, or brand new to Qigong, all are welcome to join us.

When and where will we meet?
We’ll meet outside the main lobby at Red Butte Garden, upstairs in the courtyard, and walk together to the Ring Garden. Please arrive 10 minutes early to help us begin on time.
