Pressed Wildflower Resin Jewelry

Join us to create your own original resin earrings or pendant to keep for yourself or give as a lovely gift! Students will learn how to embed pressed wildflowers, leaves, or other natural organics into UV-set resin, creating their own one-of-a-kind pieces in this two-hour workshop. The class includes instruction in design and layout ideas, techniques for using resin, and tips and tricks for making smooth, professional, bubble-free pieces.
*No experience needed; all tools and materials will be provided to make two pendants or one pair of earrings with gold, bronze, or silver-colored bezels.
Ms. Ashley Mott is a multi-media artist, career educator, and life-long naturalist. Ms. Mott is a master educator with over a decade of experience in university, college, secondary, private studio, and community education settings. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and holds a Professional Teaching license with five endorsements from the State of Utah. Mott holds an MFA in Creative Process from Saint Mary’s College of California, and an MEd. and BFA from the University of Utah. When she isn’t teaching or creating art, she enjoys hiking, camping, foraging and generally playing outside!
