Pressed Flowers and Leaves with Upcycle Framing
Saturday, 1:30-4PM
In this fun interactive workshop, participants will learn best techniques for pressing flowers and leaves, ideas for creative and expressive layouts and designs, and skills to assemble them in upcycled and repurposed frames. The result if a beautiful and artistic naturalist piece to display or give as a unique gift.
*No experience needed; all tools and materials will be provided to make one large or two small pressed leaves and/or flowers collages in repurposed frames.
Ms. Ashley Mott is a multi-media artist, career educator, and life-long naturalist. Ms. Mott is a master educator with over a decade of experience in university, college, secondary, private studio, and community education settings. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and holds a Professional Teaching license with five endorsements from the State of Utah. Mott holds an MFA in Creative Process from Saint Mary’s College of California, and an MEd. and BFA from the University of Utah. When she isn’t teaching or creating art, she enjoys hiking, camping, foraging and generally playing outside!
