Home Canning: Raspberry Jam

Wednesday, 6-7:30PM

Join us for this two-part, fun and hands-on jam-making experience! 

In the first class you’ll learn the important safe practices for home canning and the art of preservation. In the second class you will learn the art of making delicious, homemade raspberry jam from start to finish. Master Food Preserver, Anna Cash, will guide you through each step, from preparing the fruit to canning and sealing your jars for long-lasting enjoyment. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, you’ll leave with the skills to create your own flavorful jams at home.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to select and prepare raspberries for jam
  • The process of making fruit preserves with the right balance of sugar, pectin, and acidity
  • Proper canning techniques to ensure safe storage
  • Tips and tricks for customizing your jam with different flavors or adding a personal touch
