CULINARY MEDICINE COOKING CLASSES

This series of courses aims to empower individuals with the tools and confidence to redefine healthful cooking while pursuing deliciousness! Classes will be held online via Zoom.

Students will receive recipes with a list of ingredients before classes in order to follow along with instructor. Zoom link will be sent to students one day before class.

PRESERVING & FERMENTING A FALL HARVEST

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

Join Chef and Registered Dietitian, Theresa Dvorak, to learn easy ways to preserve and ferment your favorite fall harvest so that you can enjoy deliciousness all winter long! Participants will practice preserving and fermenting a variety of foods (tomatoes, zucchini, onions, cabbage, peppers, kale, and apples) as well as prepare a meal full of local seasonal fare in this hands on cooking class. No special equipment necessary!

Join Culinary Medicine Chef and Physician, Tricia Petzold, as we create an unapologetically delicious meal to support your immune system. Participants will cook along from home as we prepare a meal together. We will focus on seasonal vegetables, frozen berries, and anti-inflammatory spices and talk about how this approach can enhance everyday dishes and keep you healthy throughout the cold and flu season. Through focus on fresh, high quality, whole food ingredients, participants will learn skills that empower intuitive cooking for holiday meals that always leave room for dessert.

Food demonstration videos hope to provide families and individuals with quick fall inspired snacks that kids of any age can prepare. Tasty snacks that are sure to please and satisfy everyone from health focused care givers to taste focused kiddos.
