Partner Camp with Natural History Museum of Utah, Utah’s Hogle Zoo, This Is the Place Heritage Park, & Camp Kostopolous

If you attend only one camp this summer, make it this one! Spend the week at a different location each day and participate in an awesome mix of signature summer camp activities. Climb ropes courses, ride horses, and fish at Camp Kostopulos. Investigate Utah’s history through train rides, gold panning, and pioneer activities at This Is the Place Heritage Park. Discover the animal kingdom, study unique animal adaptations, and observe a plethora of critters at Utah’s Hogle Zoo. Go on a botanical adventure and explore the world of plants, hike the foothills of Utah, and uncover the wonders of the natural world at Red Butte Garden. Finally, connect with your inner scientist as you concoct chemical potions, have fun with physics, and more at the Natural History Museum of Utah. Don’t miss out on this all-day, all-week adventure!

NHMU summer camp registration opens on Wednesday, March 6 at 10AM for members / Monday, March 11 at 9AM to the public.

Explorers Camp

Partner Camp with Natural History Museum of Utah (NHMU)

Get ready to explore the natural world with Red Butte Garden and the Natural History Museum of Utah! Spend your mornings at NHMU investigating animals, insects, and water and soil science through hands-on projects, experiments, and excursions in the foothills around the Museum. In the afternoon, travel to Red Butte Garden to discover food chains and ecosystem trophic levels, as you create exploding photosynthesis art, dissect owl pellets, and more.

NHMU summer camp registration opens on Wednesday, March 6 at 10AM for members / Monday, March 11 at 9AM to the public.

Drop off at NHMU by 8:30AM and pick up at Red Butte Garden by 4PM
