Volunteering can have a very meaningful impact on your community, but are you aware of the personal benefits? It can lower blood pressure and stress, increase self-esteem, and enhance immune systems. You can also gain valuable gardening and people skills, as well as create friendships that can last a lifetime.
Along with the opportunity to increase your understanding of the natural world around you, Red Butte Garden strives to honor and recognize each of its volunteers through the volunteer benefit program. Volunteer time logs must be turned into the volunteer office in order to receive benefits. All benefits are awarded at the end of the year.
Those who volunteer for school credit, community service, or other compensation are not eligible for the Red Butte Garden volunteer benefits beyond an individual membership.
