Orange You Ready for a Trip to Red Butte Garden?

Monochromatic gardens, or sections of a garden, can be a fun way to add a stunning punch to your landscape. A stroll though Red Butte Garden could be a great source of inspiration for your monochromatic garden. Whatever color you're interested in showcasing, we have a range of choices to explore.

Double Tiger Lily    Lilium lancifolium 'Flore Pleno'

Curled orange petals decorated with purple dots make a striking statement on this lily.

Pat Austin Rose    Rosa 'AUSmum'

This rose has a lovely fragrance and a beautiful orange tinge .

Mango Meadowbriite Echinacea (TM)    Echinacea 'CBG Cone 3'

Bright mango colored petals mature into a deep pink and then fade to a creamy white on this butterfly attracting aster.

Leopard Lily    Belamcanda chinensis

This delightfully orange lily is not only beautiful, but is also used in the treatment of pain and swelling.

Livin' Easy Rose (TM)    Rosa 'HARwelcome'

The blooms on this rose start a deep shade of apricot and mature to a lovely orange.

Desert Sunrise Hyssop    Agastache x 'Desert Sunrise'

This hyssop produces orange and pink blooms on the same stalk, adding dimension and depth to its apperance.

Here at Red Butte, most of are gardens are a mosaic of colors, offering a bonanza of plant ideas for any color palate. We have a new white flower themed garden in the beds surrounding the Rose House, and a series of color themed annual beds along the Floral Walk. So please forgive our bad pun and come explore the wide range of color and form we have to offer!
