Described as a teenage punk rocker turned country chanteuse, Case herself refuses to be pigeonholed into any genre or utilize any classic formula for her songs and singing. One thing is certain however, and that’s that Case has an unimpeachably rich, expressive voice that comes to fruition on stage and can only truly be appreciated in her live shows.

Case is touring in support of her latest album, “Middle Cyclone,” which was released in March and opened at #3 on the billboard charts. The songs convey a pleasantly swirling strum and twang of guitars, gentle percussion, and, for course That Voice.

Ever since they were a largely instrumental duo experimenting with their unique collection of instruments and soundtrack sensibilities, Joey and John of Calexico have constantly imbued their music with an unparalleled sense of drama, calling upon the myths and iconography of the American West and its Spanish speaking neighbor Mexico.
