Native Bloomers

Red Butte Garden tries to incorporate native plants in as many of our gardens as possible. As you're strolling through the gardens this summer, if you're curious as to which plants are native we have made it easy to tell. On the bottom right corner of our signs we include a Utah symbol which indicates that the plant is native.

Palmer's Penstemon       Penstemon palmeri

Whipple's Cholla       Opuntia whipplei

Apache Plume       Fallugia paradoxa

Twistspine Prickly Pear       Opuntia macrorhiza

Purple Beeplant       Cleome serrulata
