2017 FALL BULB & NATIVE PLANT SALE

FRIDAY, SEPT 29, 1PM-7:30PM
SATURDAY, SEPT 30, 9AM-7:30PM

Please enter through the Red Butte Garden Vistor Center

Come support the Garden once again for our Annual Fall Fundraiser Plant Sale. Located on the Courtyard behind our Visitor Center, this sale focuses on spring flowering bulbs, garlic bulbs, native and water wise plants, ornamental grasses, flowering perennials and more!

Fall is a great time to plant, and THE time to plant spring flowering bulbs, as well as garlic and shallots. We will have several selections of garlic bulbs for sale, and a variety of flowering bulbs including: Daffodils, Tulips, Hyacinth, Flowering Onion, early blooming miniature bulbs, and even some fall blooming bulbs.

Although not quite as extensive as the selection at our Spring Plant Sale, we humbly believe even our Fall Sale has the best selection of water wise and native plants! If you haven’t or Fall Sale yet, it’s about time you did.

There are so many species and cultivars of ornamental grasses, offering a variety of different sizes, heights, colors, and textures. Allow yourself some time to enjoy the Garden before shopping and see just what these fabulous grasses can do for your yard.

We will also have a wide selection of flowering perennials, including selections for both sunny and shady locations, and a variety of own-root roses! Allow plenty of time to browse through these common to hard-to-find gems.

All Plant Sale Purchases are FINAL

Thank You For Your Support of the Garden

DECIPHERING OUR PLANT ID CARDS

  • An outline of the state of Utah means its native. Be aware that not all natives prefer low-water, Utah has many natives that require consistent moisture.

  • An orange circle with a bee means the plant is bee friendly.

  • A green circle with a mountain means the plant is hardy at high elevations.

  • Be sure to check water requirements listed on the ID cards, whether by text or water drop icon.
