The Wonderful Water Pavilion

The Water Pavilion Garden is awash in late summer interest, from aquatics to water-wise plants. This garden is a great place to relax and enjoy spectacular views along with feathered and finned friends who would love to see you (and your donation of treats from the dispenser on the deck).

The Mallow family brings the garden a wealth of beautiful summer bloomers that are just waiting to dazzle you as you take a relaxing stroll through the garden.

Meadow Walk

Often overlooked and underused, our Wildflower Meadow has a lot to offer. With a meandering path now mowed through the center, you can get up close and personal with some neatly labeled water-wise grasses and perennials.


A sign welcomes you to enter the meadow to begin your experience.

Having a shady and beautiful garden to escape to can be an incredible respite for the mind and body. Shady spots throughout Red Butte Garden are sure to bring you wonderful inspiration for your own garden, or the escape you need.

Pollinators on Parade

In honor of National Pollinators Week and the wonderful buzzing buddies that keep flowering plants in business, this weeks blog will show off some of the pollinators and other insects we have in the Garden. Come tour the garden and enjoy the show as the air around many of our plants comes alive with butterflies, bee's and more!

The Garden is in it's full glory, absolutely awash with blooms and beauty! Every week is bringing a chance to experience something new in the garden, some of which are only available for a limited time. Be sure to visit the Garden often to take advantage of every window of opportunity!

Iris You'd Come for a Visit

Our Irises are looking fantastic this year and they are at the peak of their bloom. Although, the majority can be found in the Rose and Water Pavilion gardens, you can find a few just about everywhere, so be sure to stroll through every corner of the Garden.
