Many adjectives could be used to describe David Byrne: innovative, erudite, prolific, open-minded. Perhaps the most appropriate, however, is "eclectic.” Back when he performed with his group Talking Heads, he took popular music in new directions, both in terms of sound and lyrics, while introducing an innovative and visual approach to the genre. Over the years, Byrne has explored myriad of different musical styles, but with every new album, Byrne has his sights fixed on exploring new vistas in sound. For his current tour, Byrne is having a blast rediscovering the magic of the songs he and uber-producer Brian Eno created over the past three decades.
