Huey Lewis & the News was one of the most popular music acts of the 1980s, releasing several gold and platinum albums. The band is known for writing simple, light-hearted songs from a working-class perspective. Combining a rock backing with harmony vocals and Lewis’s signature voice, Huey Lewis & the News had numerous hit songs during the 80s and 90s, including “The Power Of Love,” “Back in Time,” “Do You Believe In Love?” and “Hip To Be Square.” The band is currently writing and recording new material, and continues to tour the country.
