Whether it’s through the soul of southern Gospel, 70’s style Funk, Blues, Reggae, or Rock & Roll, Ben Harper has been stunning audiences with incendiary live performances and timeless songwriting. A collaborator by nature, Harper has recorded and performed with a long list of artists including Pearl Jam, Natalie Maines, Jackson Browne, Rickie Lee Jones, and Jack Johnson. His 2005 album with the Blind Boys of Alabama, There Will Be Light, earned two Grammy Awards for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album. Harper’s most recent album Get Up!, a collaboration with bluesman Charlie Musselwhite, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart and won the 2014 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. This summer, Harper returns to the stage for an intimate acoustic set that spans his entire career, and will include music from Childhood Home, Ben's upcoming collaboration with his mother, Ellen Harper, to be released in May 2014.
