Now that many of the leaves have fallen, we can take a closer look at other parts of the trees, such as the bark! Learn about the rough, slick, papery and peeling surfaces of different tree in the Garden. Supplies for "bark rubbing" will be provided as we tour the Garden. Bark rubbings are a simple way to appreciate the many patterns of tree bark and for tree identification. Bark rubbings can also be easily turned into a work of art by using different colors or in a collage.
Registration price for kids is $5 for Garden members and $7 for non-Garden members. Parents are included in this price.
