Wynton Marsalis, the artistic director of the Jazz at Lincoln Center, was the first artist to win both classical and jazz Grammys in the same year—a feat he has accomplished twice. With more than 30 jazz and classical albums recorded to date, Marsalis has won a total of nine Grammy awards. He is accompanied by the Jazz at Lincoln Center, which is comprised of 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players.
