Earth Systems at Work

4th/5th

JULY 7-11
MONDAY-FRIDAY
8:30AM-4:30PM

Partner Camp with Natural History Museum of Utah (NHMU)

Earth system science seeks to integrate various disciplines to understand the Earth as a living organism. Learn about all of these systems throughout the week and the many connections between them. For the first half of the day explore the NHMU and discover details of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and the lithosphere. In the afternoon at Red Butte Garden connect each of these systems to the biosphere and uncover the details of food chains, predator and prey relationships, and decomposers to better understand how everything on Earth is truly connected.
